Eric Wang, MD, CCRP, RAC, serves as Secretary General at National Rongxiang Xu Foundation. Graduated from China Medical University in 1986, Dr. Wang began his career as physician and clinical researcher in China. From 1994 to 1996, sponsored by Japan-China Medical Association, he worked as a clinical researcher at Medical School of Nagasaki University in Japan. Since 1996, Dr. Wang has been working in the pharmaceutical industry in the United States. In the past 20 years, Dr. Wang played incremental roles in several biotech companies, from research scientist, project manager, to corporate executive. He is involved in all aspects of drug development, including strategic planning, regulatory affairs, clinical supply management, quality control, and clinical project management.
He has extensive working experience in botanical drug development and has led several botanical drug clinical development projects. Dr. Wang’s certifications include certified US FDA regulatory affair professional, certified medical writing professional, and certified clinical research professional. Dr. Wang is currently an active member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), American Burn Association (ABA), Association of Clinical Research Professional (ACRP), American Management Association (AMA), Drug Information Association (DIA), International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), Natural Product Association (NPA), Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), Society of Clinical Research Association (SoCRA), Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), and Wound Healing Society (WHS).
